Yep they are back with more crappy music. So far what I have heard of the new stuff it is pretty much right there with the Load and Re-Load days. Better than St. Anger, but me taking a shit is better than St. Anger. Metallica hasn't been great since 1988.

Personally I think the new stuff is kickass..................Except for Hetfields singing. I've concluded hes just what is wrong anymore with them. Compare the quality of his singing, the tone, the delivery between today and 1981 to 1988. He sounded awesome back then. I don't know whether its him getting older then screwed his voice, or the gallons of booze he drank in the 80s. But he just doesnt sound good anymore.

I noticed the same thing-his voice is really awkward, almost out of place, or overly-prominent on this record.

I kind of like the guitar stuff at the end of The Day that Never Comes, that's about it....got to hear pretty much the whole album on the radio last night, they were doing some special sneak preview....anymore, I prefer either the old stuff, or some Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Saving Abel (sp?), Three Days Grace and similar. I will never buy a CD from Metallica after the baby shit they pulled with downloading....
