Just got back...it was good but not as good as I was hoping for. I'm not a big fan of the "shaky camera" effect, it works for some movies but I felt it was out of place in this one. Either that or there was something wrong with the projector Also I didn't like how they did the timeline. He's basically grown from the get go (except for the Krypton part) with just flashbacks of his childhood. If you watched the trailers you saw most of his childhood.

Here's a review that sums it up pretty good. Why do they keep screwing Superman up?? I don't get it...they nailed Batman with character development and realism then deliver this shit.

Saw it last night at one of the WalMart previews (7:00 PM)

It was good, just couldn't live up to the hype. Then again I don't know if any movie could have.

It was FAR better than Superman Returns since he at least used his super powers for more than being a peeping tom.

I hate movie critics...never happy, always bitch about the smallest & stupidest details......yet praise crap that M. Moore puts out.

Agreed...far better than Superman Returns. Man of steel is definitely more Synder and less Nolan unfortunately.

The new 300 trailer looks badass though

I never agree with movie critics or professional complainers as I like to refer to them.
