he will be missed. He was much better than some of the other idiots that call games. Maybe now we'll be stuck with Kornheiser who knows jack shit about the game. Madden had more football knowledge in his pinky than every other announcer all rolled into one. Who knows....might get Theisman who was the greatest quarterback of all time and knows everything there is to know about everything. Or his twin brother at receiver Collingsworth.

Ofcourse, EA makes mad amounts of moneyon that game every year. Besides EA still holds the rights to the NFL contract for a few more years. Madden will still poke his head around the game from time to time, but the Madden game series will continue...as long as it's making money

He was one of the better announcers in all honesty. Collinsworth, Theisman, Boomer, Phil Simms......they all suck in comparison to Madden. At least Madden was somewhat entertaining with all the crazy and stupid things he said.
