    Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals

Just got back from the Lucas Oil Nationals at Maple Grove raceway (near Reading, Pa) and I have to say it was pretty cool! I've never been to an NHRA event, and the fastest car I've seen prior to this was about 7.8x or so, so the top fuel funny car/dragster guys were INSANELY FAST!!! Don't quote the time but 5.3x @ 262.xxmph is awesome to watch, and gave me a douche chill everythime they ran haha. I can't wait to see the real deal (Toyo Tires Nationals are gonna be there in August). All in all it was fun, and they had decent fireworks at the end too.

Well let me tell you first hand you MUST experience the Top Fuel NITRO cars in person if you were impressed by the alcohol cars. There is NO COMPARISON TO STANDING BY 8000+ HORSE POWER!!!

Shit I was still in diapers the first time I went to the US Nationals which is the grand daddy of them all. Awesome experience that EVERYONE should do at least once.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
