LS1 Meet @ Cedar Point. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Well my grandmother is about to pass and I'll be back in IN. for a while for that so I was thinking we could have a meet at the Point. Cedar Point that is for those that don't know.
It's in Sandusky Ohio right on lake Erie.
It is by far the best amusement park in the world!

Burnout contest afterwords with pics and video for the site. . . . . . . . ?

It would also make a awesome back set for any pics for the calender.

My newest favorite ride is the Max Air swing that goes 70mph and spins slowly.

Shit, Ide more than likely be down to meet up there. I havnt been there in so long.

The rides I need to go on, and still havent are, Top thrill dragster, The millennium, The swingy thing you just posted..... and I know theres one more. But anyway, It sounds like a good idea..... and what better way to get over your g-ma dying than a trip to cedar point???

When is this goin down...? I may be interested... I'm goin to the saratoga show 4th of july weekend, and to Canada at the end of july, so $$$ might be a little tight, but I'd be up to going! I've actually always wanted to go there, ride Millenium Force. The highest coaster I've been on is Steel Force at Dorney Park. I think It's 200 ft tall, give or take a few ft.

I would soooooooooooooooo be down for this...

Get a set date and I'm there...can we shoot for a day during the week so we don't have deal with the crowds? Monday perhaps...

I was thinking the same thing. Mon.,Tue,or Wed.

We rented one of the "Light House cabin's" last year which was VERY cool.
Sleep's 6 I think. You can just pick up your phone and they send a van to take you directly to the gate you want to enter from. You also got acess to the park an hour before the public for NO line ride's.

It was right on the lake you have your own deck that goes right out to the lakes edge. Also have your own charcoal bbq and fridge. Ended up doing a nice firework show blasting some mortors off the deck over the water. My neibors loved it.

I honestly figured there would be more interest in this meet.

I still haven't bought my tickets to get back there yet. My travel agent that hooks me up has been on a 10 day vacation.

My grandmother is on her last leg right now. Today was her 86 B-day. I had a few dreams that she dies tonight. She has been fighting this for a long time. My grandpa died way back in 85. So she has been alone and heart broke for 20+ years. It has been a little over 8 weeks since her last blood transfusion. She was getting 3 units every 3 weeks the last 3 times. Anyways I'm sure I'll be back there around the first.

I just threw those dates out there to see what others thought. My idea was to keep it during the week so the crowd isn't as bad.

Mrs. or not I would just like to party and have a good time.

Any fellow members input that is interested would be appreciated.

Whenever is fine for me...What's the deal with renting cabins out there...like would we all pitch in and get as many as we need per attendees? I dunno if the Mrs. will wanna come or not, but I'd hate to tell her no, then show up and everyone brought their sig. other. I guess we gotta purchase tickets solo, since it doesn't look as if there are 15+ interested....

I'll ask a guy on here (TempleU_Ws6) if he wants to go as well, I'm sure he'd be down...

I think it cost me around $200 for the cabin last year. I'll call them tomorrow and check it out.

At the very least I would like to head up there the day before. Get there in the afternoon early evening and do some partying weather it be getting drunk, tearing up the streets of Sandusky , or BBQing getting ready for a fireworks show. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Maybe we will get some more interest this week to get at least 15 people around.

When I first read that I thought you had typed "getting drunk and tearing up the streets of sandusky" hahaha. I was like, uh...

Damn I'm getting tired...But that does sound like a good idea to head up a day early and bbq, tear up the streets, then get drunk lol.

ive been there about 8 times and LOVE It, we always get a 2 day pass, one day just isnt enough! and melenium force is AMAZING i like it a little more than top thrill dragster just because its longer, but top thrill is INTENSE what is it like 0-123mph in 4 seconds? AMAZING place.... sent from heaven.... and yea that thing that goes 70mph and spins in real fun. i need to go back so i can ride the maverick. the new ride
