    Love my warranty

I made a trip from Texas to Virginia and back last week. 1600 miles each way. I made it 1 hour away from my destination in Virginia and I was cruisin at 55mph with cruise control. I hit a lil bump in the road and it felt like someone took a sledgehammer to the bottom of my car. I went to pull into a 7 11, and tried to downshift but as soon as I tried to take my foot off the clutch...the sledgehammer scenario again. It hit so hard that my center console jumped. I pull over and have it towed to a GM dealer. The damn bearings in the rear end took a crap. $1424.00 worth of damage! But with my extended warranty only had to pay 50 bucks!!!

When I bought the car they asked me if I wanted the extended warranty. I asked for the best one they had. I told them if anything broke I wasn't paying for it. I didn't know how the previous owner drove it, and I knew I wasn't going to baby foot it. Just this rear end work has halfway paid for the warranty. Thats one of the reasons why I wanted to drive to VA and back instead of flying. I wanted to stress test her

It had 35,000 miles when I bought it. i bought the 6 year 60,000 mile warranty. I am sitting at 5 months and 50,000 miles. I've put 15,000 miles on her in almost 6 months!!! It is my daily driver and I do a lot of driving. As soon as I get my finances straight i am going to buy a beater car. And if i can i am going to extend my warranty out again, unless I do the heads and cam sooner than expected. She's bone stock for now. Like I say I love warranties and insurance. I have my insurance at a $0 deductible, and I bought GAP insurance through my credit union.
