    Ben Stiller movie.

    LOL, baggy pants

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080916...justiceoffbeat

People with baggy pants are idiots, but i don't think they need to be jailed for it.

I read/heard somewhere that the saggy pants thing started out in prisons. Originally, it meant you were 'taken', otherwise known as someones bitch.

it was started in prisons but that is not why or how...

it started a looooong time ago...

you got in prison and you got what ever size pants they gave you... no belts were allowed (cause people would hang them selves, use them as tourniquets, bind other people etc etc)... when these guy got out people thought it was a cool new style or some shit...

That law will never pass anywhere. 75% (if not more)of people that wear pants like that are African American and they will just pull out the race card. Sorry to sound racist but its true.

i think this law not passing would have more to do with this being america more so than anything race related, last i checked i chose the clothes i put on and i chose how they fit

thats awesome.. I cant believe some of the laws people come up with.

and honestly sandman has a hell of a point. african americans do have the own "culture" and the clothing does tie into this culture. Technically it is a form of repressing them. As sad as that sounds

while what you said is true, it doesn't in any way represent thier culture...

me and my daughter in wal mart had some guy walk past like that my daughter laughed and said something like "dad... i can see his butt"... of course me being me i told him to pull his pants up and told him to ask an amployee what isle the belts are in... my area is loaded with wealthy people... there is no reason that wannaba gangster had to dress like that...

There is a guy at work I make fun of relentlessy for that, he has to walk like he has been riding a horse for two weeks to keep his pants up. By that I mean, legs spread wide. Crotch of his pants is below his knees and he wears t shirts three sizes to big. I've offered to buy him a belt several times. lol. I'm not one to talk, I pay top dollar for brand name jeans with holes in them and paint spilled on them. My dad thinks I'm an idiot for that.

My neighbors kid tried the "saggin" thing. He told his son to pull his pants up, the kid did. They get to the mall and he noticed his son was saggin again. So he waited until they were in the lobby, full of people, and pulled the kids pants up as far as he could and made him walk around the mall like that, for at least an hour. The kid hasn't sagged his pants since.
