So today, i go to boot up my new computer 15 days old from newegg....Guess what bastard wont post...In other words my computer is fucking dead, and new egg wont replace the motherboard because it has a warranty of 15 days from date of sale not date you recieved the product! and guess what it was exactly 15 days from the day i opened the box till now. I am soooooo freaking pissed right now its uneblieveable. So for now, i'm on my cousins computer just so i can do homework which i have to figure out how to get off my old computer so i can finish up my homework.

IF anyone has a LGA775 motherboard laying around let me know!
I will need it to be shipped overnight and i will pay for that.

Needs to support 1333FSB C2D E6550, 1 PCI-e x16 slot and supports 667mhz ram.

With out my computer the LS1.com video is further delayed until i move back to colorado and get a job that will be mid december...........

Nope, nothing, i'm hoping its just the motherboard. I dont think the CPU went.

Really tempted to just ship the HD's to Luos, and sell everything else off.

Times like these you need a pci post card reader to tell for sure. All the jumpers are set correctly (bus speeds, clock multiplyer, etc if they are there)? You tried reseating the ram/cpu correct?

I havent got that far, i'm too pissed right now i'll end up breaking something.
I'm gonna reset the bio's and try it with 1 stick of ram and all of that after class. I have nothing else to do at night anyways.

Alright, here's the deal.

MOBO = FINE
RAM = SHOT

after a few hours of trouble shooting, re-seating the cpu, PCI slots and everything else that comes with new computer setup trouble shooting i discovered it was a bad stick of ram. AND OF COURSE i had to start out with the bad stick of ram first which was further proving my first diagnoses correct. either way, back on the machine with 1GB of ram (sucks)

i feel better not as pissed
