Living next to trains sucks ass

I'm staying in my sisters duplex right now and I'm like 150 feet away from a railline... that has a god damn train an hour 24 hours a freakin day!!! That bloody horn is going to drive me over the edge!!!!

I've lived close to trains since I started college. Now I have my own house and the am track super train thing about 100 yards away, you get used to the noise.

i'd be putting something new on the tracks to get run over every day...

My girlfriends house has train tracks at each end of her block....fucking drove me nuts when i'd stay at her place at first but you do get used to it.

same here, there is a train right across the hwy about 50-75 yards from my backyard and trains are on it routinely during the day/night. i dont even hear them sometimes im so used to them. plus, id rather hear trains than the loud annoying hustle and bustle of the city. much more relaxing here.

Oh its a real full frieght line... those bastards are all at least 100 cars long... I dont mind the actual train noise... but there is a crossing a block down from me, and they all hit that goddamn horn every single time... like 10 times. I can hear that shit over my stereo pumping full blast.

And if there wasnt a big ass fence in the way, I might do some of the things you guys suggested.... that mustang idea is fucking GOLD
