I waited till 1 am to see this in the first round, damn, i thought Lidell was going to smash jackson. Funny thing though, Lidell didn't fight like he usually did, makes me question this fight.....Someones making some dough.

I disagree 100%. Liddell fought exactly the way he always has along with the way I thought he would.
I really dont understand why people think Liddell is invincible. Rampage knows Chuck's card. Thats all there is to it.
I wish the fight was longer. I must say thier first fight was better. If anything Rampage gave Chuck a taste of his own lucky medicines..

Regardless of whether Rampage knows Liddell's style, Liddell wasn't even playing any defense. I have to agree that it kinda looks like he took a dive for some backend money.

What?! Liddell went for a shitty throw and got caught completely off guard. Even I thought it was a lousy "graze" at first, but afterwards, I watched the fight again off of dailymotion.com and you can see its a clear hit.
Why the fuck is this so hard to believe? Liddell was DOMINATED in pride. He didnt lose, the fucker was destroyed. This is a fact. I thought UFC's fight wasnt as good, as I expected a longer bout, like in pride's, but he still lost. Thats twice. Liddell wasnt going to throw in a towel for someone that annihilated him years ago.
Liddell has a list of wins that I would call lucky blows. Hes boring, hes shitty to watch, and his interviews are in no way near as entertaining as rampage's. This is an opinion.

has anyone here heard of that Romanian guy who is a police officer? Or maybe not Romania...maybe somewhere like Slovakia, or Yugoslavia, Serbia, something like that.
He is disgusting.

He is a Great fighter imo.
He has to come back from a disappointing loss where he was KTFO:

Yea that's his last fight...got kicked in the dome It's kind of ironic because he's the one that usually does the head kicks...

Kinda hard to say. If I said yes, then how does it explain the wins? If I said no, then how come I dislike him deeply?
I look at it from an entertainment value. Which most people SHOULD look at it fromand not take it personal.
He was a one dimensional fighter that no one bothered learning from. The only ones that I thought would are Couture and Ortiz.
Couture did in fact win once...but one loss was legitamate, the other, the fight couldve gone on IMO.
Same story for Ortiz, but it took the rematch for me to learn that Tito is a dumbass idiot. I thought their 2nd fight was stopped early, but it didnt matter, that monkey didnt fight any better. When you get your ass kicked by someone, get antoher chance, and retaliate with moves like a takedown from 6 feet away, you just proved you have no learning skills.
So is he overrated? I really cant say. No one bothered getting around his game. However, Rampage knew his game and could walk right through those strikes.
I thought at first this rematch couldve gone on, but after watching it again on websites, it was clear that Liddell was fucked.
A lot of Chuck's other fights were stopped early and I dont know why. Not when you see other fights that go the distance and then some. Blood everywhere, mouthguards being knocked out, but Chuck gets a flurry in and its game over. Sorry, but thats BORING.

chuck looked slow and old imo. not that hes fast but didnt look right. i dont think hes invinsible but if you seen him fight before you seen him take way harder shots than that. sometimes guys get old in 1 fight.

well, he has been at it for a while.
Ken Shamrock sucked when he got older.
Hulk Hogan would tear UFC up...

Ken Shamrock was a pioneer...nothing more.

Good answer as it was/is a loaded question. Everyone loses and he has had an impressive career but there comes a time when you hang up the gloves.
With the likes of Shogun, Dan Henderson, maybe even Wandy coming to the UFC (or already there) Chuck needs to really soul search to see if he really wants another run to the title.
