What were some of your favorite episodes? Did you enjoy Sam's pursuit of Shelley Long or Kirstie Alley more? Favorite character from the show?

Most of the characters were well-written on that show. Woody was hilarious.

Such a good show. Norm and Cliff provided the most laughs for me. I thought the show worked well both with Shelley and Kirstie -- something that normally does not happen when you replace a main character.

Norm: I'm trying to write a letter of recommendation for my secretary, Doris.
Cliff: Why? Is she quitting?
Norm: No, I gotta let her go. Business hasn't been so good since I decided to stop working.

Cliff: I have impossibly high standards for a woman.
Norm: Yeah, she has to like you.

Cliff: Hey, Norm, What's up?
Norm: My blood-alcohol level.

I liked woody the best. He once said his favorite snack was snowballs, because they are bite sized.

I liked it better with Kirstie/Woody.

Loved when Sam was making fun of Robin Colcourte to Kirstie and came in the bar in an old school prisoners outfit. Frazier introduced Sam like he was a catwalk model as Sam picked up trash with a pole/poker.

Loved when Cheers and Gary's old town tavern were playing practical jokes on each other. For some reason Gary had a bull dozer knocking down his own bar. Sam walks outside and thought Carla did it. I lol.

Ohh and I've been there.

How would a beer feel Normie? Pretty nervous with me in the room.

Of course the best episode is when Norm got the job at the brewery taste testing beer. Boss hands him his 1st paycheck and Normie says "ohh I couldn't" Then Normie says "well I'm gonna change my clothes and go to Cheers to tilt a few"(after drinking all day at work) his boss says "you're kidding right?" Normie says "Yaah, I'm not gonna change my clothes." LOLLLL.

Also loved when Sam was going to sex addicts ananymous.

Coach was a great character. Like with most shows, it took them all a few seasons to really find their groove. I think Coach coulda been great like the rest of them.

Some good episodes/stories that jump to mind are:

Sam vs Robin in the bar... Darts, pool, and chess
Woody and Kelly episodes
Sam selling/buying the Corvette
Cliff on Jeopardy
Frasier buys a motorcyle, calls himself Slash, runs with scissors

Way too many memorable scenes/shows to think of...

I was at the "Cheers" bar in the Savannah, GA Airport! It obviously wasn't the real Cheers but it had tons of shit from the show

The squeeky shoes episode was one of the best.

And the bar in boston looks nothing like the show on the inside.All thow they did make a bar in Fanuel Hall market called cheers that has the same bar set up.

Personally I thought Lilith was the hottest woman on the show. The snipe hunting episode comes to mind when considering one of the funnier ones. But the Cheers vs. Gary's episodes were always great. Anyone remember the color of Sams Stingray?
