poor guy. My mom's uncle let me shoot his .44 magnum when I was 14. First gun I ever fired. He showed me how to hold it first, or I would've probably done the same damn thing.

LOL!!! I did that one time with my rifle. For some stupid reason, I was WAAAAYYYYY to close to the scope, pulled the triger and BAM!!!! gun recoiled, and slapped me right between the eyes!!! My father-in-law and his brother we pissing themselves. Thank goodness it was winter time or I would have bleed out!

I've seen many people get black eyes from scopes. When me and the wife were just dating we went out and shot my shotgun a few times. I let her shoot some bird shot through it a few times until she got used to shooting it and was comfortable. I then mixed a 3" turkey load in there. It was funny as hell and her eyes were as big as saucers.
