So as i've stated probably a million times.... I LOVED my Mark VIII. I was a Lincoln fanatic for many many years and the fact that the newest marks are 12 years old just kills me.

Enter Ford to brighten my world.

They are turning to the interwebs for ideas on what to do next. and who would have thought that with all the hundreds of suggestions they are getting that the number 4 suggestion under performance is to bring back the mark coupe!!! I am thrilled that I am not the only one that misses the personal luxury cars from Lincoln. As much as I love the CTS-V I think it needs some domestic competition!!! Domestic competition with a supercharged 5.0 naturally

So friends. Ford hater or not. Help my dream come true. Let's make the "Bring back the Mark Coupe" the number 1 suggestion on the Ford story page. You don't need to register just give a thumbs up to the idea at least. Although a 30 second registration and a quick comment would certainly solidify the feeling at Ford HQ. If it makes it to number one and they greenlight a new LSC I assure you I will own one.

I fear it would be a Taurus based front driver with "modern" styling. But I'll help ya

Personally I think a Mustang based car would be more the ticket for Ford. The Mark VII was known as the "floating fox" for a reason you know

Also the Mustang itself is based on the DEW98 platform which was the chassis for the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S type. it wouldn't seem unreasonable to stretch it some and put IRS to allow for a proper luxury coupe to come from that platform.... started at lincoln.... returns to lincoln.
