Red- 99 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28
LEGO Thread
figured i would start this thread to save another one from getting locked....post your favorite lego kits, or what you have built and what not...i was never into the lego town scapes you could get, i was into the lego technic kits, the ones that may have had a working motor, or suspensiona nd a differential and what not....ive wanted this particular kit since i startyed playing with lego's....was like 125 back in the day like 18 years ago, still bounce around on ebay for like 100-250, cant find a legit auction now, so this over rated and over priced auction will do...this has a working hood, trucnk, and had a 4 speed shiftable transmission that actually worked...

here's my robot, the only lego item currently in the appartment. but i used to play with lego a lot as a kid, and the first time i visited legoland in billund, denmark was in the early 70s. i was probably five years old.

I might add that I refused to pay $550 for the Millennium Falcon set new, so I'm on the prowl for an already built set that someone is getting rid of for whatever reason.

Legos back in the day were never as cool as what you guys are posting. Just basic blocks and panels -- the specialty kits didn't come out until long after I put my set away for the last time. Fortunately, my nephew is into Lego and occasionally will allow me to play as well.

also had these sets
on the last kit, the indycar/hot rod, i took parts from some of my other kits, and turned it from a v6 into a v8. it was fun, cuz i had to rebuild the front chassis, and redo the steering for the extra length. ohman id love to have these sets back
