Laywers worth ?
I find it sad what laywers get people out of today. On the today show a La crosse player in virgina beat the crap out of this girl and they are blaming it on her being drunk and adhd. He has a history of being violent and admitted that he beat her head against the wall and left her bloddy on the bead to die. Its sad what money can get you out of in the world today.

Lawyers are worth a lot because they can spell lawyer
I'm just curious, can you give us a bit more information on this story, or better yet, a link to a news article?

remember this. Lawyers are the devil..........until you need one. When you need one they're the best thing since sliced bread. Ask the La Crosse player what he thinks of his lawyer.

ADHD has nothing to do with being a voilent retard... it's attention deficit hyperactivity disorder... not attention deficit hyperactivity beat the shit out of people disorder... there is no valid argument with using adhd... being drunk is no excuse either... he chose to drink to that point so he is held acountable for his actions... people don't get out of accidents with either of thoes excuses...

How does this particular story prove how "sad" lawyers are?

Like most reptiles, I have thick skin. Stuff like this does not bother me in the least. I agree with Spaz -- the system does have problems that need addressed. Lawyers are just tools in this system, bound by rules of law and procedure which are in some instances archaic or make no sense.

With respect to pajeff, not knowing what he practices, it's the 'ambulance chasers' and 'class action lawsuit' attorneys that ruin it for the bunch, in my opinion. I get tired of seeing commercials about class action suits, telling me to call if I feel I deserve compensation. Yeah I'd get 50 bucks, and they'd get another 10 grand.

A defense lawyers job is to defend you. By all legal means. If that means casting doubt on everybody involved then so be it. That is his strategy to get your ass off. This is how it works boys and girls. If I had a defense lawyer that did not pull out all the stops to defend me...then I need a new lawyer.
