It's a long read, but there are lessons there for everyone.
Texas-Speed hates me, but I made it blatantly clear that they would not get more than a deposit from me until the motor was done and I had a tracking number from the shipping company. In tough economic times, companies will take any job, even if it means going out of their comfort zone to get the money. There is a lot of money involved in serious racing, and people need to learn that people in general are not going to fight for someone they've never met and probably will never meet when they can just take the money and leave.

I hope KY Josh gets back, in return, all of the fuckin' he's (allegedly) done. What goes around, comes around - it always does.
A while back, when I was still in an LS1, I considered doing business with KY Speed and/or API(not ATI!!)
I'm glad I didn't! I don't even really 'know' why, I just chose not to - I'm glad my gut instinct served me well on both accounts.Last edited by FasstChevys; 12-06-2012 at 08:39 AM.

you need one? I still have a few. That was one guy out of 20. I always sent those out before I was given money and everyone, except one, did right. I wasn't doing that to make money anyhow. I actually spent more making them than I ever made because my drill took a shit and I had to buy a new one plus a new set of bits.

Didn't read the thread. It sucks to those who are involved though.
I am an advocate believer in what goes around comes around. Many people who have fucked me over have had bad karma strike them.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Cliffs?
From what I gather:
-Closed shop
-Kept peoples money/parts
-Open new shop? File Bankruptcy?
How is no one taking legal action against this guy, he could do a lot of time.

Thought he was the same guy as KY Speed

Different guy, for sure.
Also to be noted, RaceFab should also be questioned before signing for work. The web of bullshit is so thick it's hard to keep track, and I've kept up with the whole thing for months.

Mark was the KY Speed guy that worked with people from this site. I know he had a partner but I forget what his name was. Mark was a super nice guy and easy to deal with....no reason for me to think he has anything to do with that stuff.
