If this is to be taken seriously, Mike Tyson shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Kimbo Slice. I would love to see Kimbo make it to the upper echelon, as I am a big fan. However, his management is going to have to make him work up the ranks of the current bull-pen of heavy-weight contenders in order for any serious fight fans to take him seriously and not write him off as someone cashing in on a quick buck.

Many hardcore Tyson fans would credit his excellent management early on in matching him up with the perfect opponents for his long reign as the "image" of an invincible fighter.

It will be intresting to see what Slice's management does early on in his career, because this will definitely set the precedent of where Slice ends up in the long-run.

^I more or less agree.

This fight would be a joke and I dont anticipate it at all.

A has been vs. a never was. I say never was because all he fights are chumps that are on the same caliber as his internet goons.

Make him fight Brock Lesnar or Bob Sapp, then hell generate the proper publicity. Other than that, Rutten better double check his line-up cuz this IS a circus match up.

Kimbo has been at this game for 2 years..give him a chance..Rutten is one of the best MMA minds in the game and he obviously sees something we dont...i think Kimbo could be one hell of a fighter with enough training/experience...no matter if he used to fight bums on the internet or not...at least he is legit and doing it right..he is in a small orginization so he isnt going to fight the best talent in the heavyweight division...give him time and most people will be eating their words about him...
