The sad truth is that instances of "shaken baby" either leading to death or severe injury aren't all that uncommon. Plus, they are not always the result of an uncaring or evil mother. Having a child is, for lack of a better word, nuts and incredibly difficult. It's a level of responsibility unlike anything else. It should come as no surprise, then, that young women are sometimes unable to cope and thus do irrational and regrettable things. I have 2 kids an managed to never shake them until they died. It's called self control.....that guy should be fried in the chair next to this wench for trying to defend her.
Now if someone wants to talk busted ass.......guilty as charged. I will lay some busted ass down from time to time just to keep the pack leader status.

Matter of fact I'm so good at it that I rarely even have to bust ass anymore.....I just threaten a busted ass and whatever is going on stops. I can make my daughter cry just by looking at her when she does something wrong.....no need to bust ass on her anymore. My son on the other hand, well, he just needs it from time to time as a reminder.

i know this technique quite well. growing up my dad hd the potential to be the scariest thing on earth, ha. i didnt get my ass busted a lot, but i sure as hell knew i didnt want anymore of it. ill he had to do was start to un buckle his belt and id sprint for my room and hide, haha. we always used to say that 'god has the fear of dad in him'

Yep, that exactly how it is around my house. All I have to do is say "what are you doing" or something along those lines in an angry voice and when she sees the look on my face sometimes she will start to cry because she knows shes in trouble. When I say what are you doing in that voice she usually says nothing...... small pause... Im sorry and starts to cry.
