I have instructed the Moderators to start handing out Warnings. You don't want to get a Warning? Follow the rules.

Repeat Offenders will be Stuned or may even lose access to this forum.

Flames or derogatory insults are strictly against the rules. If you disagree with another member's point of view, do so in a mature and civil manner. If someone posts to discuss their personal problems or seek help from other forum members, please do not respond unless you have something positive or helpful to add. If you find yourself being flamed or insulted by another member, please do not dignify that person with a response. Notify a moderator and let us handle it. If you feel you must respond to a flame or insult directly, please do NOT do so on the board. Use private messages or e-mail.

Suggestion: If you are particularly irritated by another member's posting habits and are constantly fighting the urge to flame them, you can click on that person's profile, and select "Add to ignore list." This will make that person's posts invisible to you. And Report the Post

I don't know what your problem is. You only got an alert. Doesn't even count against you in points and will only stay there for 30 days. Unlike a warning which will stay for 6 months and count against you.

Stop worrying about the other users and worry about yourself. You have no idea how we can deal with users. There are many other way to handle them without everyone knowing.

Well...i will recap it for you since you don't care enough to give the members here the benefit of the doubt when they are screaming at you that a mod fucked up.

Care? OMG? Right now I am working on upgrading the Board to new software to benefit the users. Version 3.6 of VBulletin.

I installed this Warning System so users would be warned instead of getting Banned like they used to. And this way we can ban the problem member, not the ones who step out out of the rules once in a while. Would you rather we ban you instead of giving out a warning?

I still don't understand your problem. You didn't get banned, you didn't get stunned. You didn't even get a full warning. All you got was an alert.

Thats like getting pulled over for speeding and the cop giving you a written warning. There are no points associated with it.

Would you take it to court? Or just be glad you got one?

Everyone here knows you care about the board and want to keep it up, it's the members that i think you don't care about. It really shows in an example like this.

If you want to compare this to traffic laws then this is like getting pulled over and giving a warning for speeding while you are doing 5 UNDER the speed-limit.

Alright, CCC i think your alittle over doin this. I WILL side with you on most of everything what you said. I too, feel i got a very very B.S. alert. I was also pretty pissed for a while. After the guy came back...Not knowing i got an alert because of him, He apologizes to be and says he misunderstood me. Which he did. He got nothing. But after his apogoly, Theres that damn alert still there for soemthing i really didnt even do. I too sent Ed a PM, no answer. Didnt bother me that much. Gotta realize that this stuff is gonna happen.
