06 PBM GTO(458WHP)SOLD!!- 06 TR GTO~476WHP 425TRQ
Just a little progress on the GTOs replacement.
As some of you know I sold the GTO last year(LIKE A RETARD!!!) and got a TBSS. I liked it but it was getting some mileage on it. So I decided to step back into the Turbo 4cyl game again with another SRT4. But this time I decided to get the New Caliber SRT4. I like the looks of it a little better than the Neon SRT4 I had(Even though its a girl wagon). Ive done a few mods to it already and picked up some really good numbers so far. I also ran a few 115+ trap cars in "Mexico" and pulled them from a ricer roll. Should be fun once its done. Still have a little ways to go though.
BUT MAN DO I MISS THE FUCK OUT OF MY GTO!!!!!!! I would give all 3 of my testicles to have that bitch back!
Bashers welcome.
Heres the numbers and mods.
Stock: 263WHP 287TRQ
Now: 315WHP 367TRQ(He didnt email me the highest Dyno sheet for some reason, but you get the point.)
MODS: Mopar Stage 1 PCM,NGK Iridiums(BKR6EIX),AGP Intake, Exhaust Deopt Stainless Turbo back exhaust with Magnaflow Muffler, Turbo-XS Race Blow off Valve kit w/Forge Motorsport factory block off plate, BWoody Check Valve, AGP Lower Motor Mount, Dual Scangauges W/Wideband Kit on Dual MPx Pillar, SRT Grille Emblem
Ill get one of the Dyno Vids up sometime this week.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Those SRT4s are gonna be more rare as they are being axed I think at the end of this year or next year. If I had the money I would buy my father a Commemorative Neon SRT4 or drop a PTturbo motor under the hood of his 05 Neon SXT so he can keep his automatic.
extreme dimensions, driveshaft shop, harrop, hid(35watt/6k) lows, hurst, k&n, led fogs, maverick man, mishimoto, nitto, revshift, slp, stern st-1, smoked sidemarkers, whiteline poly radius rod bushings

Yea its getting harder and harder to find a clean Neon SRT4. I dont think I would be able to find one that I would want to buy because Im too picky. They only made the Caliber SRT4s for just shy of 2 years. The only bad thing so far is aftermarket is limited to only a few venders.
All I have left motor wise before the Big Turbo is the Bigger Intercooler. But I wont get a Big Turbo for a while. I only have 9000 miles on it so far.

I am trying to remember what packages Mopar had for the SRT4. I think STAGE 2 was the highest street-legal package but STAGE 3 wasn't street-legal.

man those SRT motors make kickass low end with the stock turbo. big torque spikes, but just dont flow enough to hold the boost to redline.
50 trim time hehehehe

They were all legal(At least around here they were). I had a Stage 2 with every bolt on possible(short of a full fuel system). Mine made 291WHP 343TRQ untuned and ran some low 13s at around 111 with low timing and running 10.2s A/F wise. But for some reason on the street that thing was quicker. I guess thats kind of how this thing is too.
Heres a short rundown of the Staged Kits Mopar offered for the Neon SRT4s
Stage 1- Upgraded PCM
Stage 2- Upgraded PCM, 683CC Injectors, MAP/TIP Sensors, Adjustable Wastegate, optional "Turbo Toys" which were a High Octane Mode and intercooler spray bar kit.
Stage 3- Everything S1 and S2 offered but bigger Turbo and different wastegate.

Theses hold boost way better than the Neon SRTs did, but as you can tell from the Dyno, they still dont hold like I want. They have a little big bigger turbo than the Neons did, but not much bigger. Once I get it tuned, and get injectors and an aftermarket wastegate that curve should get better.
I also think Im going to go with a Delta 44 Turbo for the car. Its a little stouter than the 50 trims all the Neon guys put in their cars. But you never know, I may not even have it by them knowing me!

Yea they can damn sure be nasty. Most just get trashed because of the owners not knowing what they are doing and not being able to drive. For instance, putting some low-pro tires on a 500WHP FWD car is NOT smart. I had some good "meaty" tires on mine and it still didnt hook. If I get some good numbers from this thing one day im going DRs all the time, or at least some BIG tires; well big for a FWD car(I can fit some 265/45s up front) They are some very respectable owners around though that have a awesome setup.
