Just found the greatest thing ever for Android!!

I was sitting board at work and on the internet so I decided to do some surfing for games for my "Smart Phone" and Android 2.1 so I hit up google. After approx an hour of surfing and finding some what cheap shit games......IT HIT ME!!! Hit up some ROMs (IE NESoid and SNESoid emulators)

After mere minutes I knew what game I wanted and NEEDED, one of the greatest games ever for its time and still is..............................SUPER MARIO RPG for SNES!!!!!!

I had it downloading within minutes and am super pleased with it on the Mesmerize. Its a slower game which doesn't really need running and jumping too much so it works nicely on the phone. I am soooooo happy since this is probably my all time favorite game from when I was a kid.

This game still goes for around $50-$70 dollars at most used game stores around here. Downloaded it for free but the emulator cost about $3.99

I'm currently playing Pokemon FireRed on my computer... I'll definitely have to look into an emulator for my SGS.

Does the phone need to be rooted for this? Because mine isn't.

Nope, just download a emulator like I listed. You can find them in the Game section and they usually cost around $4. If you need help, google will help you. I downloaded the program called "Emulator ROMS" which helps you find a ROM for a specific emulator like Gameboy or SNES! Its free and works awesome. I won't ROOT mine because I don't know how

Forgot to say that all the ROMS I found through that program have been free. Only the Emulators cost anything

Yea I have fell out of the loop with phone's here lately, I have been stuck with the blackberry's myself, but I am thinking about getting a new htc/droid phone soon.

Ok Ok, I got you two set up!!

A: Go to Market Place on your phone
B: Go to Games
C: Look at Free Game Apps
D: Search for "Emulator Roms"
E: Its free, download it
F: Search for the Emulator of your choice (NESoid, SNESoid, etc)
G: Download the emulator, it will cost about $4
H: Download roms using the App from (D/E)

lol I dont never play games on my phone, and my blackberry suck's as it is, so I am not trying to download anything on that damn thing haha. I am going to be looking to get a new phone sometime soon I am tired of the crackberry's.

got mine last week and you will love it im offically hooked on this thing and i too was phone stupid my old phone didnt even have a texting plan on it. Lots of free apps and things to mess with. One thing i did notice was the trip to my moms in delaware (130mi and about 2.5hr ride) i swear was almost like a half hr ride due to playin with the phone seeing what i can dl and what apps are out there, just alot of cool shit... have fun with it....

If you really wanna put the DX to work and tinker with the thing, download the Tasker App. I don't have it yet, but I've read some really cool, impressive things it makes possible. Also check out pdanet if you ever think you wont have wifi available but need internet. I have free wireless tethering but I'm rooted to do so. Rooting is literally a one click operation nowadays. For free games, angry birds is fun. TeslaLED is a useful flashlight app that comes in handy. Being able to take screen shots is cool. If you ever get interested in rootin BBB, ill get ya setup with some neat apps that make life easy.

Sounds good. Download "smart keyboard",(trail/free version) it is a much better layout then stock and will help with accidentally hitting the period button when trying for the space. There's hundreds of keyboards out, but I like this one the best. Check out my rooting thread on here, it has just about everything in it to get you started. My battery life had increases probably 25% with my battery profiles alone.
