Half a year of military pay + half a year of unemployment checks. Getting about $500 back from Federal.. but gotta pay around $150 to Commonwealth.. I already bought goodies for the car with what little there was. (I've got other money..).

I should get less raped by Commonwealth taxes next year though since I can mark myself as Full Time Student (and on Federal). I started in mid Jan. this year as my first semester so that was why I couldn't mark that this year. I DID get to mark some good exceptions though from my moving costs from Florida to Kentucky though.

Hopefully nothing. My goal is to keep the "get back" or "pay in" to within $100.00 either way. that way I have more money in my pocket than I would by allowing the government to keep it (not earning any interest).

very smart you are. to many people think there doing really well if they get a huge return at the end of the year. people its your money to start with, why not have it in the bank earning interest...

I make it so that I have to pay in every year. Why would I want them to make interest on my money all year long???? There's the misconception that getting a BIG tax return is a good thing. Well, it is a good thing, for the government.
