JUne 4th Tarheel Tigers Club car show pics

Pics from this past weekends Tarheel Tigers car show in Cary NC. Few less then last year showed up. But from my understanding a one of the big Pontiac clubs in the state lost alot of their sponsorship when Pontiac died. So most of their members couldnt make it. But had a lot more 4th gens show up this year. This doesnt come close to covering all the cars just some of the nicer ones.

My car which took 2nd in the 4th gen class.

The black T/A took 1st in my class and the Pewter T/A took first in the modified class.

That is a 2001 SOM Firehawk and it is for sale. Guy told me he would take 12k for it but really wasnt in a hurry to sell it.

This car won best in show. Guy is the original owner. It was the first car he ever bought. Only option he didnt get was the W-30 package b/c he didnt want to lose the AC.

These Vettes were out of Rick Hendricks personal collection. He sponsored the event so we are on his car dealership lot in Cary. He had traded both in on different cars. No idea what the sales guy didnt say.

This green Firebird won 1st in his class. It was originally his brothers that passed away. He joked that his brother was looking down laughing at him since he couldnt handle the added power from the beefed up restored engine.

Guy said when he bought this car it was a show car. Only problem was the drivetrain was complete crap so he had to completely rebuild the drivetrain on it.
