Jet Boat Racing

Anybody watch these guys .. Its a lot like Ralley Car but for boats ...They run this real complicated course with a driver and navigator .. I think it would be great if they made the "track" a little wider and took out half the corners ..and run heads up with 2 or more boats on the course at the same time ...

yeah i watch them in the small canal fast as shit. them little boats have bigger engines than our cars do. that shit would be fun as hell. word

I think you're talking F1 boats which are much smaller than a hydro..

Buddy of ours has a 16ft ski boat with a ford 460 in it.. Second fastest boat on the water here in the NK valley. The fastest is a twin 502 chevrolet cigarette..

The first one is a jet boat because it refers to the jet pump that propells the boat and the other boats are hydro planes that are jet engine powered and if you want to see the best race madison regatta.

Actually the term "hydroplane" refers to the hull design..

With that said, the open boats in the race course videos are jet drive V-hulls..

We have a regatta here as well. Also have attended the Pueget sound regatta in Wa. State with the blue angels performing. awesome!
