hmmm.. Sounds like a tough case. NASCAR does have a habit of playing GOD but so does all pro sport administration. If convicted, I feel he should be given a suspension and fine but I wouldn't ban him from driving. He should be treated as any other pro sport athlete.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
I vaguely remember a couple of years ago when he was racing for Evernham and Mayfield either threatened to "out" Evernham for skrooin Sara Fisher, or Mayfield DID "out" Evernham.
extreme dimensions, driveshaft shop, harrop, hid(35watt/6k) lows, hurst, k&n, led fogs, maverick man, mishimoto, nitto, revshift, slp, stern st-1, smoked sidemarkers, whiteline poly radius rod bushings

mayfield is not allowing nascar to push him around(hired a lawyer and fighting nascar in court)nascar being to allmighty rulers they think they are are going to try everything in their power to ruin mayfield.soap opera drama really,i support mayfield, nascar is waay to big for their britches right now and think what they say goes, without any question.screw them, they(nascar) are the reason racing is bad and attendance is going down with all their make it up as we go along rules.also surprised we got to post no.9 before a "nascar sucks post was made"

We have signs going into his hometown saying "Dont Meth Around"
Big big big thing around here. A good 85 percent of the local population has fucked up teeth.
Im saying he is in the same boat as C was when he failed the drug test for PCP. You KNOW people that are on meth. You CANNOT hide it.
I work with some people that were on it and have a nice clean kept appearance and nice shiny all there white teeth, they have the crank bug though, the twitch, always have to move.

i may be wrong, but i believe mayfield did not take meth.if that proves to be the case, nascar will have royally screwed mayfield over, and he should sue them for everything they are worth.nascar has been awful shady about this deal and i don't think mayfield would have gone to all this trouble fighting nascar if he is guilty.just my opinion.i would like to see lewis hamilton drive a stock car,all the other open wheel boys could not do it sucessfully(except the 1 race montoya won on fuel mileage).

Lewis Hamilton karting at age 13 in the rain.
Having raced go karts since I was 5. Been able to shift a manual trans at 8. 125 dirt bikes in my teens. 4 years employed as a Heavy Duty Wrecker operator (Miller industries certified) adding to my perspective as a driver. I would say Hamilton is a scary talent. I've also met Mario Andretti, Al Unser jr., Emmerson Fittapaldi (amongst many others). My buddy's cousin was the VP of Marlboro Racing. Pit passes are one thing, VIP(free) passes are another world (FREE STONE CRAB!). I personally like LeMans series racing. NASCAR is too redundant and linear for my tastes. I'm not putting anybody down. I would never tell you nor would I let you tell me what to like.
PS My step uncle was the president of UDRA.
