The University of Oklahoma's football team rolls into El Paso to once again show a Texas team(although I wouldn't consider UTEP's football team anything more than a high school junior varsity team) that Oklahoma is and always will be on top of Texas.

And keep in mind, there are 9 UTXX, I happen to go to to UTT, University of Texas at Tyler, have been a native Texan my entire life, and I have never heard of UTEP.

This also doesnt include the satellite campuses OF the satellite schools, for example, the University of Texas at Tyler at Longview.....Dumbass

UTEP held their own with them....no way OU should be ranked 4th after that sorry ass game. Had UTEP had more depth they would've won that game....half the team was down on the sidelines cramping.

More depth and a fucking field goal kicker. Jesus. How do you miss three short ass field goals? Two different field goal kickers, no less.

Agreed. OU didn't look like the number 4 team in the nation but a win is a win.

I'm not a big fan of blaming the field goal kicker for losing games.....had the O scored TD's it would be a non-issue. Only time I can really lay blame on the kicker is when they miss one at the very end of the game for a win. He didn't lose the game but he didn't win it either. I watched that OU/UTEP game.....UTEP played their ass' off but they're just too small of a school. It was a 3 point game going into the 4th quarter.

But, their O didn't score so their field goal kicker is to blame. There was 9 points left off the board. Granted, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game but it should have been an easy 9 points.

even if he hits all 3 though they still lose although you could argue that they wouldn't have tried the fake punt which resulted in a score for OU. Either way....it was david vs goliath. They have to be pretty proud of how they played. I would've liked to have seen their running back make it the whole game....that would've kept it more interesting I believe.
