it's 2008, what do you do?

So, it's 2008. You have spare cash and a need to buy a muscle car
Dodge releases Challenger. MSRP is 40K for a SRT8.
Chevy announces camaro hitting the showrooms in 2009. MSRP will be $30-35K for LS2

you can't ask that question on this forum and not expect the camaro to win the popularity vote.

He is also not posting all the facts you do not know what the challenger is going to cost for sure, and camaro is not a sure thing yet neither is thier pricing regardless of what GM says.

    Camaro

I haven't shopped at the Dodge dealer, but am seeing ads of a SRT8 Charger at a dealer asking over 42K. If this isn't a dealer markup, the new Challenger in late 07 or 08 will definately be more than that.
2011 Camaro for me. Give it a year to get the dealer markup off, and maybe the SS will be offered then.

I thought this was a hypothetical question, so facts shouldn't really matter, right?

It should if your going to poll it and find out what people are going to buy. Making it seem like the camaro is a for sure thing, and the pricing is way better just throws it off.

05 GTO may be worth holding onto, cancelled and all.

And you'll never see a >98 T/A or Formula again.
