    Internet experts

I do love the recommendations and some answers I see on the internet to simple questions.
Put 20-50 oil in your LS1 to stop piston slap was a good one.....oil your KN filter with baby oil was a classic....but I just read one that stopped my heart....guy asked how to clean a MAF and I swear was told right off to clean his MAF with soapy water and blow dry it with a hair dryer.

The MAF sensor won't work right unless it calibrated to the muffler bearings.

which then the muffler bearings will go out because of the massive output of the calibrated exhaust tips...C'mon let's keep this going!......

You must utilize a calibrated metric cresent wrench to adjust your muffler bearings....any deviations to these delicate settings will result in false readings to your soapy water cleaned MAF.

I calibrated my exhaust tips by using a left handed hammer, and a dremel.
    The procedure is as follows:
hang the tips with a coat hanger, tap them with the hammer, and listen to the tone. Then take the one with the deepest tone, and grind a little off the end and tap again. Repeat this as many times as necessary to get the desired tone on each tip, usually an a to an a sharp.

Then if you go to the hardware store, and buy a bucket of steam, you can soak the tips to get any grinding dust off of them.

Now my car sounds good, almost like it has a corvette motor in it

now one thing also to rember is that the maf sensor is inversly proportional to the level and therefore density of the DOT-7 Blinker fluid, which inturn is directly proportional to the continual-transfunctioner core temperature

When changing your summer air in your tires to the winter air never forget to recalibrate your exhaust tips.

Funny thing is...not a single person on that GTO specific sight has said shit.
That poor bastard is out there rinsing his MAF with Dawn dishwashing detergent and blowing it dry with a hair dryer. Dumbshits............

ohh most certainly the chrome ones..the nickel coated bearings will trip the NC2 code which will directly offset the 3RC code..If this happens,it will be a long night!Please...anyone..correct me if I am wrong..

problem with the Chrome ones is if you get them out of sequence it will get the water pump out of time ...And no body wants that !!!
