Installed my spark plugs in under 2hours! Can You?
What is up fellow LS1'ers! lol, I'm just glad i am at home for once instead of with the gf hehe, and also the fact that i finally got a chance to tune up my machine (car). So I changed my oil, cleaned the throttle body and put in a new set of NGK tr55 iridiums ($7 each at advance auto parts) and unfortunately when i was finished it was raining so i couldn't put the pedal to the metal but as I can tell-i see a great gain in throttle response. So i'm happy, all that took 2 hours which is great cause when i first got my car it took me half a saturday to change them for the first time 4 yrs ago!
btw i was previously running the platinum tr55's

that's childs play my friend. it took me about an hour and half on my first try.. it was ripping the wire off of the boot, and having to go buy new wires that took so long.

Silver- 2000 Camaro SS
my car took me like 2 or 3 hours. i had to be under the car the WHOLE FUCKING TIME!!!!!!
i couldnt see 4 of them, and 3 of them, the ratchet didnt fit, so i had to turn them ONE CLICK AT A TIME!!
the drivers side of my engine bay is all open, and the passengers side is cluttered as hell. ironically, drivers side took like 2 hours, pass. side took 20 min, but that might have been cuz i got the hang of it
anyways, good work with the times! just thought id share, to make u feel better about ur car haha

Taking it to a shop is out of the question. I do my own work on my car unless I absolutely have to have it done by a shop. I don't trust many with my car. I know how to change spark plugs, just wondering what the quickest way is to do it.

I haven't done it on this car yet...seeing it, I'm not looking forward to it. I could do all 8 plugs in 20 minutes on the dot when I had my Chevelle.

Now two hours in an LT1 f-body with stock manifolds and that would be impressive.
In a LS1 not so much...
But I am glad you did it yourself rather than pay someone to do it.

I can and have several times changed mine in under 40 minutes, not even rushing it....not a big deal

2 hours? Do you have stock manifolds? I've done mine in under 45 minutes, but having long tubes and a couple select coil pack bolts MIA helps things...

Id say it may take 30 min ....notice my fist fits easily between the manifold and the inner fender ....
