Everyone else is trying to flood back into parish while I'm just chilling at home.

Everyone was biting their nails wondering if the levees would hold. I'm impressed, they are only 25% completed but the majority of flooding has been held off.
So what made you want to stay? Catagory 3 is a pretty healthy hurricane, were you the least bit concerned? I'm sure there was a lot of talk on the radio and tv about the levee systems, etc. What made you decide to ride it out?

I remember how after Katrina hit a few years ago and newspapers had pictures and stuff. They were talking about looters, they showed pix of black pple "looting" and other pictures with the white people were "finding their belongings" LMAO
