My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i'm a re-gifting S.O.B.
I admit...i regift. My wife and I have shit from last year that we didn't even remove from the boxes and are totally regifting...anyone else? It's not b/c we're cheap-it's b/c we're picky. And the the thing that kills me about xmas is that you get a lot of "junk" from people who just buy you stuff to fill their quota instead of actually thinking about a gift that I would actually make use of...and car parts are too expensive for family to get me, so i just take their god-awful presents and hand 'em over to someone who will make better use of them =)

Black- 2000 Camaro Z28
My parents won't let me mod my vehicles with my money because of college, and they wont pay for my mods so all I wanted for christmas is a pair of insulated camoflauge coveralls and mom cant even find a pair of those for under $200. I did get a $117 check from the place I work today and I dont even know why, they direct deposit all my paychecks and I already got an incentive bonus, I have only worked there 3 months so all I can figure is that its a christmas bonus.

I'm not opposed to re-gifting. I don't do it personally because most people know how I am and don't get me bullshit gifts. Either get me something I can use or don't get me nothing at all. I don't want or need expensive stuff, I need functional stuff. My nephew who's a pretty bright kid got me one helluva gift 2 years ago and it proved my point to a T. He was ~18 at the time and didn't have much money. His gift was an assortment of bungee cords. IMO that's about a perfect gift in that situation. They're cheap as hell and I've used every cord out of that thing 10 times. I do a ton of camping and shit like that so bungee cords always come in handy. Smart kid. I buy very few gifts for people. I do gift cards. Let them pick out what they want.

Silver- 2002 Trans AM
you think thats bad?
I am regifting a gift that I already gave.
Let me elaborate, last year I gave my mom a Chocolate Fondue Fountain. I was snooping around in her Basement and its still in the box. She claims she never had a chance to use it, even though she really wanted it.
Well, I am taking it back and giving it to someone else.

they might not be shitty gifts if it is something that the gift receiver would enjoy, it was a shitty gift for the original receiver (tss) because it did not suit his personality...
