Went to street legal drags Saturday. Saw like 5 new SS camaros running. Only 1 made it into the 13's and that was only a 13.5. All of them except that one ran 105mph and low 14's. 2 new vettes both running 12.5 and 12.6 @ 115 just like thier suppose too butt the maro's were slow as hell. I'm sure as hell not lining up at the dealer for a new SS.

Possibly. But I have read in GMHTP the torque management settings are set to minimize wheelhop, which reduces the torque going to the rear wheels, which inadvertantly slows the car down.

I have seen a handful of the new ones running at the strip. Stock, they run pretty much just like you have stated.

They also spin a bit out of the gate.

The best time to date I saw was a girl driver (she was a lesbian, and yes, I felt that was important to add) that got a 13.5. I don't remember the trap speed though.

I love it. Need to get that on a T shirt. I saw 2 of the SS in the pits and they had street tires. I didn't look inside so don't know A4 or M6. I was watching at the big end so I didn't see the launch so I don't know if wheel spin was an issue butt the times sure sucked. I'd be using my new GM 30 day return policy.

^The new camaros have six speed autos, not a4's. Iroc, if you drew that you forgot to add in the independent rear suspension also fucking it up.

I´ve seen lots of fourth gens run 14s when new as well. We all know what they are capable of tho.

I ran mine and got a 14.1 at 99mph. Broke loose in first and part of second. But I was on street tires.
