Let me give you a little back round. I know I need some serious help. When I was 14-15 I started drinking/cutting myself and wanting to die. 1st sign. No help there. As I got older not much changed except I did alittle bit of drugs and considered myself a functional alcholic. As things progressed they got worse. I saw a couple of counsolers.(sp). Like everybody else I had problems but didnt deal with them like I should have. I had the typical depression,anxiety,wanting to die,racing thoughts etc.. I have been seeing shrinks for some time and was hospitalized last year. Im very shy insercure and dont have very many friends. Thats were the alcohol comes into play. Ive been into trouble a little and thats why my wife wants me to stop drinking. I can go for months and not drink but when I do I sometimes I go overbored. If she would let me do it alittle as long as I have a driver. I know the truth though as long as I have a problem I shouldnt not do it at all. I still see a shrink and am meds and am going though ECT( Shock therapy) It was helping but it kills my memory bad , so bad I would forget everyday things. I dont even know when my anniversary is except thats its coming up. I treid spacing them out to every 2 weeks but have an appt for this wed. as I know I need to go. So you all can make jokes and laugh or whatever it is you all do. Atleast Im trying something. Whether it works or I find another solution we shall see. Guess Ill have another beer. LOL

Man - I hope you get something figured out.

It sounds like more of a need for inpatient therapy(90 days minimum) as opposed to what's being done now.
