2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
I'm about this close (fingers squeezed together)..
...to saying "fuck it" and getting rid of the Trans Am.
I want to get my car tuned before the LS1.com Picnic that is happening in less than a month. And in order to get it tuned, I need to get my new headers and an exhaust on the damn thing. So, today I was going to tow the car to base, put on the lift, swap headers, tow it to the exhaust shop, have them fab up the exhaust, and then take it home to await Frost to PM me back about a good time for me to tow it down to him.
My Suburban's alternator died Friday and with all of the stores closed on Saturday for the holiday and them not opening till 11am this morning; I grudgingly asked my friance's father to let me borrow his truck. He said yes, but with one condition, that I break off the engagement with his daughter (this shows how much he likes me).
Fast Forward to this morning:
He (my fiance's father) comes over this morning, I unhook the trailer from my Suburban and hook it to his truck. THEN Nymphadora decided to not start, so I let it drift down the hill onto the trailer. I don't know why I didn't measure the clearance of the front bumper vs the trailer...you all can see where this is going...I slam into the trailer and basicly ripped the bumper off the Trans Am (popped off and I reattached it). Not to mention I did this in front of Allie's dad So now my car is in the street, with two giant gashes in the front bumper, a whole days is wasted, which is another day closer to the Picnic, and I don't know why it won't start, because it was running Wednesday afternoon before I went to work...looks like I'll be driving the GTP to the picnic after all

Just take things easy with the bird. All will be fixed if ya keep a level head. If ya rush things, well, this will happen:
extreme dimensions, driveshaft shop, harrop, hid(35watt/6k) lows, hurst, k&n, led fogs, maverick man, mishimoto, nitto, revshift, slp, stern st-1, smoked sidemarkers, whiteline poly radius rod bushings

Happens to all of us every now and then. Do not do anything you will regret later!

No, I did not call it off, he was joking, but I know him, every time I see him, he's going to go, "so, still engaged to my daughter, eh?"
My life is at an all time low...job sucks, car doesn't run, and the hope of buying a house this year is looking bleaker and bleaker...it's true, the good guys do finish last.

I coulda told ya that. Look at things this way:
Do you currently have a roof over yer head?
Are you unemployed?
Will the car run again?
STOP WORRYING. The car prob has a small prob that could be easliy fixed...and you'll feel like ish for feeling so down.

I know the exact feeling of wanting to sell the car. When you start making some decent power, things start breaking. Good luck on getting it tuned and ready for the meet.
