The only thing left I can do is a rearend, so $2500 would go for a Moser and then I would probably buy yet another set of wheels

Is that car stock??? If the fictional car was stock, then that is not at all what I would do with my first 6000. Well, I guess the turbo just sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'd probably go with a 12 bolt, new tires(stickies) and build the tranny. Then save what ever was left for a decent rebuild on the motor with a nice head/cam setup.

This is easy. I'd do a complete maximum motorsports suspension for let's say 1,500. The I'd spend 1,500 on a full paint and body job plus 2 1/2 inch cowl hood. Then I'd buy a nice wheel and tire setup. Then I'd get the car dyno tuned. Last but not least 2 recaro racing seats. that should eat up 6k.

Ah the benefits of getting along with a kid whose father owns his own body shop in High School lol hehe They do excellent work. I figure I'll splurge and spend 2k or more and have them do a nice white metallic and silver ghost stripe on my car lol
