Shit man, it looked like that computer geek in the GT500 lost an entire car length just shifting into 2nd. Some horrible driving going on there, but even with that slow ass shift, the 118mph trap is pretty stout. I would like to see what a competent driver can do with that car.

Roush is offering the Ford ecoboost V6 for use in LMP2 class cars. they downsized the engine to the max allowable 3.2L and pumped it up to 400hp. Considering they pump out 365 stock and will be around 385-390 in the 2011 modelyear.... wow..

Sadly Ford has been kicking GM's ass. For the first time since i was 16 I do not own a GM vehicle since trading in the Sierra for a F350. I am considering buying another WS.6 but other than a vette that is the only GM I would buy right now. For almost 10 years I always had at least 2 GM vehicles in the driveway, now not one

Speaking of driving though, what amazes me is the amount of people driving these really high horse power cars who don't have ANY formal driving training at all.
I would think people would want to learn how to drive their EXPENSIVE toys. Maybe save their lives...

My sister-in-law's boyfriend is all about pimpin' his civic. He blew the engine... (get this, he told her it blew because one of the oil injectors went out and starved a cylinder... I wasn't there at the time to

at him) and he ordered a new one. Apparently he got the bad ass engine, the one putting out like 180hp or something. He took it to a shop and they held onto it for 3 months swapping the engines (I'm unsure on cost). I told him, "Are you fucking stupid? You can swap out that engine in a day easily... 2 days if you're special education." He says, "I'm not a good mechanic, I'm a good driver."

Do you think the two should go hand in hand or is it possible to be the next Mario Andretti without knowing what an alternator is?

I'm tired of the fast and furious kids and their NAAWWWWS...
