Myself
I can actually survive on my own, but I'd take Les Stroud.
He doesn't just go out somewhere and eat something nasty like bear grylls. I mean what is his show, Fear Factor on safari? and he's so fake! he gets his own camera crew and some of the things he walks up on...you can see the tracks in the snow or sand where someone put it there! at least when you see Les walking, you know he sat that camera up. walked his happy a$$ through frame for the shot, walked all the way back, got the camera and walked it without anyone seeing it. half the time he has the most trouble with all the crap he carries for the cameras.

Les Stroud (Surviorman). When I saw dude do a week in the Sonoran desert and eat a Bark Scorpion to boot he had me.

Stricktly going off names, have no idea who they are, but I voted Survivorman. I'd trust all my gatz over anyone.

I would have to take Les Stroud if I had to choose, but I would rather rely on myself to stay alive.

Survivorman hands down. That guy is a hardass.
A Man vs. Wild episode goes like this: Hi guys, I'm awesome. Watch me eat a few bugs. I know everything. I hope my camera man falls down a hill again so I can laugh at him. Can we go back to the hotel yet? I'm missing Will & Grace.
Whereas a Survivorman episode goes like this: Instead of sitting by the fire, I walked back and forth the same strip of woods six times in -12 degree snowy weather setting up different cameras so when you're watching this on your nice warm couch, it doesn't look like the blair witch project.

Les Stroud also likes to act of situations like the one when he acts like he crash a plane in the woods, and had to wear a sling to simulate a broken arm. He also doesn't do stupid things like jumping off of high cliffs into running rivers, he is down to earth survivial to stay alive.
