so i wasn't here for this but my buddy texted this to me today, i got a kick out of it.

"So a firebird pulls into autozone while im getting parts for my vette so i go out to go take a look at it. i see the guy and ask 'hey, is it an LT1 or LS1?' and he said, 'neither.....it's a firebird"

I recently had a guy at a car wash try to tell me that my trans am has a 6cyl. I nicely was explaining NO it's a trans am it's an 8cyl. Moron said NO all the ones with the flat hood are 6cyls. This annoyed the hell out of me so.... I started up my 6cyl with headers and a loud mouth right next to him and watched him jump about 10' in the air

maybe that was the way he tried to pick you up and you blew it..

I go to a Autoparts store to get a battery. As I walk in I overhear some middle age dude asking if the guy behind the counter knows anyone who would buy is z28.

So I approach him and ask him what year? He says 2002 with 30K miles.
I ask is it the 35th anniversary? He says What?
Is it T56 or 4L60E? he says What?
Manual or Automatic? He says automatic with a Corvette motor.

It always piss me off when people say that.

So I Fucked with him for the last time, So its a 346CI engine? He just looks at me like a deer in the headlights.

Then I asked how much he wants for it and he said $23,000. I just laughed and left with my battery.

Once I was outside the stores parking lot, I was installing the battery in my Trans AM. The same guy comes up to me and says, hey thats the same engine he has. I said no, you have your engine out of a Corvette, Mine is out of a Trans Am. Then he backs up and asked me what car was I driving.

At that Point I was like "WTF Mate?" Ignored him, finished my battery and left.

Dumbass people.

I caught onto that too. It isn't a LT1 or LS1 if its a firebird. It would be a 3.8 Liter. SO the guy is technically right.

Probably has been a couple of years back....I was at the NAPA counter and a guy walks in with a British accent and has a used bottle of Maguires Wax......told the kid it ruined his paint job and was pissed....so they walk outside and the kid is all red in the face and obviously trying to keep from laughing and ask for his boss to come outside....well hell all of us went to the windows when they walked outside....they guy had smeared the entire bottle on his car and just left it.....been on there for over a week....

o.k. so about three weeks ago a guy comes in my store and he wolfing saying he has a 70's malibu that is beating everything on the street from l.a. to malibu i'm killing camaros and everything else, i say what you got in there and he says a 400 with a 700 trans. my car is parked right out front and he didn't know the car he was using as an example was mine so i just shut up and listened wasn't even gonna bother arguing. cuz i could see he didn't know what the hell he was talking about so he leaves and goes outside to leave and what do you know battery died. so i say hey nows my chance i go out side to give him a jump and he pops the hood its a chevy 350 with edlebrock valve covers and not much else so i start up to give him a jump and he says damn that sounds good what is it a 350? i say no 346 you have a 350. he says i told yall i'm killing camaros. i just laughed and went back to work. i cant wait to see him on the street.
