Not sure, but it will if it keeps on going. Saw on NatGeo tonight that the French Revolution was caused in part because the other bigger volcano in Iceland blew for eight months. The ash cloud reached Europe and caused famine. They're thinking that this smaller volcano might cause the bigger one to blow this time, they're close to each other and kinda connected. Europe will be screwed if that happens.
