Thats a nice car for sure, I am a fan of the MR2's but if i were to get it, i'd probably see if I can get a 2JZ in there, that little I4 2.0L 200hp stocker would be gone, and thats if it has the turbo.

It's possible but would cost ALOT, you would have to do some serious fabrication work, i believe you'd have to extend the rear some to fit it, its alot of crap you have to do, i can't remember all of it, but in the end it's not really worth it, you could just mod the I4 thats in there, you can make good power out of those, from what i've read.

i wanted one of those shortly after i graduated high school. cool little cars.
i heard a guy tell a story one time about how he watched a cop cut through a median one night to try and pull him over. he floored it, got off at an exit and pulled into a gas station where some guys were talking. told the guys to just act cool and stood around with them. a few minutes later a cop showed up and was harassing him about it being his car they were chasing. he told the cop he'd been there for 2 hours chatting with his buddies. told the cop to feel the hood, he did - obviously it was cold - and the cop went on about his business.

Transam- the motor is transverse I believe. No way in hell.. There is a guy at my dad's workwith the latest gen (gay) mr2 with tons of boost. He can whoop up on just about anyone just about as long as he can get the 185's or 205's whatever they have to hook.

Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
I know a pair of brothers who work on the same service team at a Toyo dealer in Richardson, Texas.
Per them, show up with an MR2 Turbo needing more than an oil change and you'll get evil stares letting you know you should and then they'll booty-love you on the price.
They're apparently nightmares to work on.
