I so want one of these.
Up until recently I never knew their was such a thing as a 3000GT VR4 Spyder. Turbo charged hardtop vert with a six speed = . I love the styling of the 3000GT and would sell my Aztek in a second to get one of these. But why in the hell are these things priced so high? Their price is almost double that of their hardtop counter parts yet beyond the top they are the same car.

Green- 94 Camaro 3.4
As for why they are more expensive... they are friggen massively rare. I've only seen one of them in my life and it was at a car show. I dont know off the top of my head how many where made, but I think its less then 10000.... check 3si.org for more info on them.

I love the idea of a 3000GT or a Stealth as a DD but I would have to find one really good condition with low mileage. Before I purchased my Z28 I was looking around at local Stealths and GT's as my first car. If the cars did not have a ton of miles them then the owner for some reason thought the car was worth its weight in gold.

Nice cars, I love the look. But they are god awful heavy and Shitsubishi makes them. my 2 cents

Black- 1999 Camaro Z28
My brother in law used to have a 1998 VR-4. It was heavy sure, but man it got looks, it was fun to drive. The AWD was the best part. We used to fly around turns and give it all hell

3000 gt's are decent cars for a DD... but i'd rather have a mid 90's toyota MR2 turbo...

Even the hardtop VR4's are rare now. They are super heavy and not really that quick, plus not cheap to maintain and repair. They are nice though. I got to drive the hardtop Dodge version the Stealth RT Turbo back in the day and it was pretty damn nice. It was pearl yellow and i believe the sticker was like $42,000. I think it was like 95'.

too bad they're still like 4200 lbs with all that retractable hardtop, double or quad everything and massive chassis reinforcements to boot. hard for even a TT3.0 to pull around. even if your'e making 500whp.
