I really am sick of this....
I def drink my fair share but don't go out of control....with that being said, I am sick of people wanting to fight drunk with me!!! I understand with my age that people think they are invicible (spell?) when they drink But a honest question, why do people want to fight?? Is it, that they don't feel pain? Is it, that they feel unstoppable? My grammar/spelling might be bad but I'm intoxicated and just sick of the non stop fighters Get a hobby, get a life, get something but leave me alone I have nothing to prove to anyone

Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

Hang out with people who are more intelligent. I have never once be in or had the possibility of being in a fight when intoxicated.

Its not my group of friends per say... We go out to the bar and someone has something to prove it seems! If you live in the USA and not a terrorist, then I support you! I'm not a target (5'10/ 150 lbs) People just want to fight! I don't drink to get mad, I drink to enjoy myself I've been verbally attacked or pushed multiple times in the last month or so I got more to live for then to kick ass or get my ass kicked

So - you're saying that you're just sitting there in a bar, all by yourself, and people mess with you for absolutely no reason?
Yes, I know it happens once in a while. Are you a regular? Is this happening at the same bar in each occurrence?
There has to be more to it.

Lol, being 5'10' and a 150 lbs soaking wet means you ARE a target. They just feel like because your smaller they can show out easily. And punk you.
1. Gain muscle.
2. Carry a weapon.
3. Get your ass beat
Sometimes its that simple.

When I stopped hanging out in rowdy bars, people stopped wanting to fight while drunk.
Back when I was in my early 20s and working construction I used to hang at a few of the rougher establishments... Late evening fights were par for the course. In Maine, many of the locals who hang out at bars near the fish docks are extremely rugged regardless of their physical appearance and shouldn't be screwed with by most folks.Last edited by tnthub; 03-17-2010 at 07:47 AM.

Most people who drink get what they call, "beer muscles". The type is usually someone who is single, drinks heavily on the weekends and goes home empty-handed.
Everyone who goes out to the bar/niteclub just don't go out to pick up a girls and get into fights. But this world is full of people who have beer muscles, and a majority of you are fools looking to fight someone because they bumped into you into a bar or club thats "crowded". Crowded being the key word of course for those drunks that didn't pick it up.
Off-duty police are famous for bar fighting. That stems from getting picked on in high school and now that they have a gun and badge they get "beer muscles" to show what they really don't have. Courage is in the heart not in the badge guys. Departments are now cracking down on this disgusting behavior.
The first thing that dissolves in beer drinking is pride. Some drunks believe they can get the sexiest woman in the place. They are just fooling themselves. "If you couldn't get her the way you look or act now. Drinking won't magnetize her to you.
Probably the sexual frustration is what killing a drunk person so they allow themselves to clown.
I agree about drinking at home. Its safer and cheaper. Maybe hangout at classier places. Don't do the "stare down" thing its useless and pointless.
Clowns are everywhere. Just ignore them. So what you get bumped into. Move to the other side. Don't let your ego get bruised. Kill people with kindness. That works alot of the time.
