I wear North Face. I thought those jackets were just a "style" thing, but a few hours skiing at Hunter Mountain and I'm sold.

Ugg=
From what I've seen, UGG and Dolce&Gabana shades go hand-in-hand with women. I remember when women wore high-heeled boots with jeans or a dress/skirt. But that was, pretty much, a decade ago.Last edited by cammed goat; 12-12-2009 at 11:57 AM.

The two jackets I wear the most are a North Face Denali and this bomber-jacket looking one I got years ago at American Eagle.
The North Face inners are great jackets but in moderate and high winds you'll want an outer shell to go along with it because the wind cuts right through the fleece. High quality jackets though.
The AE one I have is pretty simple, cotton outside with a furry inside and thick enough to keep warm when it's cold and/or windy. The only thing I wish it had was a bigger collar, or one that can be turned up like my North Face, to keep my neck warmer.

I have a nice black wool coat. Its nice and warm too. They look nice pretty much no matter how you dress wether its dress clothes or casual. If its bought after Christmas you can find good deals on them too. I got mine right after Christmas last year and it retailed for $150 but I got it for $60.

Yeah for sure, for the best deal wait til after christmas/end of spring. Seems odd buying a winter coat heading into summer, but if the price is worth it, why not.

I love it, mines is in white/black, super warm, and the sleeves and hood can come off so it transforms into a vest, well worth the money.

The north face jackets might have turned into a trend but their intended purpose is for skiers and outdoorsy people. Very expensive stuff but just about as high quality as it gets. Made to last, made to be warm, top notch.

Oh and if you really want to stay cozy warm get the polypropeline (sp? ) military winter wear that shit is the best. I need to get more of them. as for boots it is hard to beat Sorrel for warmth and dryness.

Northface jacket i wear in cold weather. This pic is from the top of a mountain in Colorado while skiing. It was about 20 below that day. All I had on under it was a t-shirt was still getting hot at times.
