Black/Red/Black/Red- 98WS6/06MCSS/86GN/06H3
I love this quote..................
It is perfectly possible for a man to be out of prison, and yet not free -- to be under no physical constraint and yet to be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national State, or of some private interest within the nation, want him to think, feel and act.------Aldous Huxley
I wish more young black men that I know would read it and truley get the meaning, So they could be more prosperous, I tried of seeing them go in and out of prison it's depressing............
Anyway why don't you guys post up some of your favorite quotes.........

Meaning that they feel compelled to act a certain way based on society?
I like "Spending money I don't have, to buy parts I don't need, to impress people I don't know!" - Grumpy Jenkins, this "Ya'll can go to hell, i'm going to Texas"-Davy Crockett and this You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. -Winston Churchill

To effen many to list lol, but here are a few.
A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than those attending too small a degree of it
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
All of those by Thomas Jefferson.

I don't know who said it, but:

"I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' . . . Well, do ya, punk?"
Clint Eastwood as Inspector Harry Callahan in "Dirty Harry" (1971).

Nowadays people can be divided into three classes - the Haves, the Have-Nots, and the Have-Not-Paid-For-What-They-Haves.

Midnight Blue- 2000 Camaro Z28
I went to sleep with the hope that made America famous.
I had the kind of a dream that maybe they're still trying to teach in school.
Of the America that made America famous...and
Of the people who just might understand
That how together yes we can
Create a country better than
The one we have made of this land,
We have a choice to make each man
who dares to dream, reaching out his hand
A prophet or just a crazy God damn
Dreamer of a fool
---Harry Chapin

^^ Many great quotes. Two of my Favorites--
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not" - Thomas Jefferson
What win I if I gain the thing I seek?
A dream, a breath, a froth of fleeting joy.
Who buys a minute's mirth to wail a week,
Or sells eternity to get a toy?
Who, for one small grape, will the vine destroy?
Or what fond beggar, just to touch the crown,
Will be by the King's sceptre struck down?
-William Shakespeare, "The Rape Of Lucerios"

Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible.
Imagination is more important than knowledge, because while knowledge defines all we currently know & understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover & create.
Life is all about ASS
Everyone’s either covering it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, trying to get a piece of it, or just BEING one!

Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! ..But He loves you.
