i just got shot

the neighbors kid just shot me with a bb gun...

i was running 4 miles this morning. right before i got to my neighbors house i saw their kids in the back yard with what looked like a red rider bb gun. as i passed the house it felt like a yellow jacket stung me on the inside of my left leg i now have a little red spot, i looked down and didnt see any bugs flying around. i looked back at their house and saw them ducking behind a picnic table. ive been shot by bb guns before, i grew up before the day and age of airsoft and paintball, so it was bb battles with me and the neighborhood kids. it felt like what i remember a bb to feel like.

i thought about turning and chasing them down, but i was pretty tired, i doubt i could catch them, id probably just get shot a bunch more times...

im not looking to get him in trouble. i just wanna get him back. my brothers friend has one of these

so i might borrow it and go hide in the woods, that should burn him up nicely.

Go and talk to his parents. You shoot him with a high rate of fire airsoft gun, parents get pissed call the police on your ass and you will wish you went to his parents first.

If his folks don't do a damn thing, next time you see him with a BB gun get pics and let him shoot you. Call cops and CPS. Parents will wish they beat his ass and took his gun.

Screw it, approach family first, if they brush you off call cops.

It's one thing to have a bbq gun fight with friends, it's another when you are practicing to become a DC sniper on the neighborhood.

I don't know that I've ever seen a bbq gun.

yeah in this day of the slavering lawyers and boneheaded juries, you would unfortunately likely get sued. It's a shame. So you're going to have to let the parents know and hope they are really parents and not 'my little angel can do no wrong' types.

20 years ago you could retaliate and it would all be seen as fun. But those days are gone

in regards to the kids shooting you, I agree with the above statements... Its one thing to be playing a game shooting eachother with friends.

however this kid shot you, which means he could be shooting anyones pets or other people.

tell the parents, if they dont do something inform the cops.. or buy a tazer and taze the kid. Claim it was self defense.

Airsoft and BB guns are not know for their accuracy over 30 ft. Yes you can get pretty good with one but still not reliable.

Assault weapon refers to firearms that had been developed from earlier fully-automatic firearms into semi-automatic civilian-legal versions. The earlier term assault rifle refers to rifles that are capable of fully automatic fire. The ban did not cover "assault rifles", but merely the new category of "assault weapons" which did not include automatic firearms of any type.
