I have a dilemma
I've been providing a home for my friend's dog because she can't have animals in her new apartment. I'm fine with dogs...he gets fed in the morning, let out 3 times (when I wake up[0900], before I leave for work [1430], and when I get home from work [2330]), and my friend comes over 3 times a week to love him and whatnot.
Here's the problem...the damn dog won't stop shitting in my house...I've had enough of it...here is what i found this morning (keep in mind I let him out at 0300 this morning and woke up at 0900, so 6 hours he had to hold it):
To me that looks like 2 different times and the second one was runny, which ruined the rug.
The poll options are above...help me decide.

i said hunting knife, because afterwards you can eat it. Now i would not do that myself but maybe you can feed it to your friend.

Just take the dog and tie it's leash to the door knob of her apartment. Problem solved.
Also, be sure to make her clean that shit up.

dog looks like he tried to hold it, feed him white rice to bind his stomach and i think your problem might be solved, he could also have a worm so have her take him to the vet

Um, as a long time breeder, I'm going to guess that you are feeding that dog cheap ass food by the looks of those stools... Loose stools are not our friend as you have experienced here. Poor thing probably can't help it...when ya gotta go sometimes...ya gotta go.
Maybe change his food. Not all at once by the way. You have to slowly incorporate a new food by % with the old food.
When his digestive track is back on track and producing firm stools, you will both be much happier

I'd guess that he can't hold and since he's doing it on the rug and not just on the floor he'd probably prefer to be outside. Get a cage which will at least keep your floors clean. I can relate though, that stuff wears on you after a while. I'd make an effort to remedy the problem and if it's not working out tell your friend that she has to find a different place to keep the dog.

This is a fairly new environment for this dog. Has anyone tried training the dog to go outside for pewpin? Next time when you get up and find pewp.....grab the dog, put his nose in it then send him outside immediately. You have to give a stern "Outside" command when doing so. If no one is willing to teach the dog then your friend, whose the owner, doesn't really care.....so why have a dog? Just my .02

Yeah try keeping him in a pen or kennel while you're asleep. They usually won't go where they sleep. If it's runny, you can't really blame the dog, he's not feeling well.
And +100000000000000000000000 on not feeding cheap ass food.

Yeah my dog also will use Puppy Pads. I dunno how big this dog is but they have a normal size and a large size.

I just want to add to this that you should never shove a dogs nose in his pewp! The only way to train a dog that is not crated at night is too actually catch him while he is going and give a firm 'outside' command and take him to the spot you would prefer that he go.
He doesn't understand why your shoving his nose in it when it's hours later... Doesn't teach him a thing.
He should have a designated spot to go out side and be taken to that spot often and praised when he goes.
I have trained more dogs and puppies then I can count. It takes patience and a calm demeanor to get results...
