i have to clean out jerry the oscarfish's tank
its so cloudy and nasty in there, i have to buy new gravel and everything...
it will take me all afternoon, theres so much fish shit in there, last time i did it you couldnt even see the fish once the water was stirred up
jake didnt look too happy, but then again, what kinda mood would YOU be in if you were forced to swim in a tank full of your own shit and piss
Have a great day, It sucks ass its monday, i feel so god damn tired

lol. oscars are about invincible.
i cant imagine how quickly a discus would go belly-up in a tank like you describe.
I remember one time 'bully' our oscar jumped out of the tank at night at some time, and I found him on his side, crispy and hard in the morning. the cat was batting at him
I thought I saw his gill cover flex just the tiniest little bit, so I plopped him back in there and hoped for the best. he lived for 2 more years.

I had an old boss that had a huge ass oscar in a 55 gallon tank. You would come into the room and he would get him to dive out of the water for a treat! It was one of the funniest things, that damn fish would jump out of the water about six inches!

I used to have a school of oscars, I loved putting gold fish in the tank and watching them tear the fish apart.

I clean my tank about once a year its a 55 gallon with 1 oscar, because he kills everything. I do have an algae eater in there but he kills those too. I dont even change the filters on the back of the tank. My water is surprisingly clear and my fish is surprisingly healthy, had him about 5 years now, hes huge and his name is henry
