I hate my job

I'm getting a promotion, or at least that's what they called it, but the funny thing is that I lost 10 hours next week. Now I'm gonna be counting the stores money and will have a lot more responsibility, so what gives? I'm a poor college student and I'm trying to pay my grandma back for the loan she gave me to pay for it and this crap really pisses me off. What's worse is that they hired a lady back that quit and I think she got some of my hours.

Any advice cause I am gonna go talk to my boss about this...

Buisness's are all shady...you get a promotion and get a raise but they cut your hours to make up for it...so you end up making the same.Are you a full time employee...full time is supposed to be 40 a week

I'd just bring it up to your boss...and see what he says. If he says he'll fix it but keeps cutting your hours i'd browse for other jobs around the same pay. Other then that you might be able to find a 2nd very part time job to make up the difference.

I think my boss'll fix it cause he's pretty cool and hates confrontation. It's the lady that makes the schedule who is being a lazy bitch. What really gets me is that this chick fits, then we hire her back when she wants to come back. I like the idea of another job though

Sometimes when you tell them you're looking for another job they'll give you what you want. Happened to me, got the raise and the hours that I was delayed for about 4 months, but then again I still might leave because I shouldn't have to say "I'm leaving" in order to get a raise.

Dude, quit that place in spectacular fashion. Throw shit, break shit, swear like a mother fucker, do a burnout on your way out, etc... Make sure every new employee for the enxt 10 years hears about , "How that one guy flipped when he quit."
