I HATE my garage

So we moved from FL to VA on a long-term (1 year) assignment and rented a house site-unseen. Here's my list of problems with the house:

Constant bug issue (ants mostly)
House isn't sealed for crap
Must run heat pump at 72 to get the house to 77 when it's triple-digits outside
Must run heat pump excessively in winter to maintain temp. $450 electric bill, 1600 s.f. house
No garden tub for the Mrs.
Washer/dryer in garage

...and most importantly, you CANNOT park a car in the 1-car garage b/c the stairs extend down too far into the floorplan. Huge shed out back to store stuff in, but I keep it in the garage because a car won't fit.

Can't modify the stairs to turn them 90* b/c the heat pump is on one side, and the water heater is on the other.

ARGHHHHHHHH. I have the cash on hand to buy this (local too!) but won't because I'd have to park it outside in the elements!!!!!

My next car, like my last, will remain a garage queen as long as I own it. Only the best for it.


Heck, it probably only saw sunlight < 20 days the entire last year I owned it, aside from taking it out to wash it.
