This is a response of someone writing in about mid tier watches:

"Having said this, never — and I mean never — waste my time with another question about Nixon watches. When you grow out of that phase and start growing hair on your chest, then come back and we can talk."

    Another gem:

"Separating the boys from the men
What differentiates the TAG Heuer Carrera from the Baume et Mercier Classima from the Oris Classic? The name on the dial. The styling. The strap. The companies’ websites. In other words, nothing. What differentiates a Patek Calatrava from a Lange Saxonia from a Jaeger Master Control? Everything. And they’re all worth every penny."

    This just takes the cake:

Someone asks him about his issue with bretling watches:

"If someone were to creep into my bedchamber under the cover of darkness and hold a loaded revolver to my greying temples and say, “What Ho, Watch Snob, feel now the chill and fetid breath of the Grim Reaper on the nape of your age-bent neck, you must choose a Breitling to wear, or quit this mortal world,” what would I say? I’d probably say that the joys of life -- its youth, passion, and loves -- are far behind, that I hold life but cheaply, and can meet death with a smile on my withered lips."
